Rules
Runner in the 100 mile race can drop at the 100k point and still be and official finisher. Plus eligible to win overall or age group awards.
If runner chooses to go back out on the course, and drops later in the race. We will give you a 100k buckle, official finish, but you will not be eligible for overall or age group awards.
Runner must download gpx file and know how to use it. Prove this at race check-in. This is for safety reasons. If you are to get off course having this working will help you quickly get back on course.
Runner must carry enough water on them to make it 8 miles.
No paper cup aid stations. Carry cups to fill up for special drinks.
Runner is responsible for teaching their crew that they can only have crew at “Crew Access” aid stations. Taking aid between aid stations will get you disqualified from race.
Runner is responsible for passing on information to their crew about parking responsibly.
Unclaimed drop bags will be kept at the Ornery Mule Trailhead in Crystal Lake, IL for 2 weeks following the race. We can ship them to you, at your request, and will charge shipping and handling. After 2 weeks, the contents of unclaimed drop bags are disposed or donated as deemed appropriate.
