2027 Awards Ceremony Update

We owe our runners an apology. In 2026, we made mistakes while handing out some of our Female 100k overall awards at the finish line. We know how much work goes into earning those finishes and placements, and we want to do better.

For 2027, overall and age-group awards will be presented at a scheduled awards ceremony rather than being handed out individually as runners finish. This will allow our timing team to verify results before awards are presented and give us a chance to properly recognize the runners who earned them.

We appreciate the grace our runners showed us as we corrected, and we’re taking what we learned and making the process better for 2027. 🧡
