In The Woods Captains- Shana & Steve Stangler (and friends)

Shana and Steve Stangler are excited to be returning as aid station captions for the “In the Woods” aka 554c Aid Station.

They have a passion for running and hiking the Ice Age Trail, as well as volunteering with their local chapter of the IAT in SE Wisconsin, so when the inaugural race was announced they knew they had to get involved!

Their goal is to make sure every runner - from the first person chasing a record time to the last person chasing cut-offs - feels supported and cared for. Their aid station team of amazing and experienced volunteers will happily get you quickly on your way...or sit with you and take a moment to help solve your challenges.

When not on the trails, Shana and Steve can be found off-grid camping, bicycling or traveling.
